the staff were super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. our classic double room was beautiful, clean and comfy. breakfast was amazin with lots of options and huge portions. we also loved the bistro, great vibe and food was cooked to perfection. the location was perfect for exploring the town.
the only downside was the slow service for brekkie on our second day and we had a bit of noise from the street outside.

missingWrote a review on Sept 01restaurant service
Being informed that there was no restaurant service upon arrival created a challenge, especially with such short notice to find alternatives. On one evening, noise from the pub across the road at closing time made it difficult to rest peacefully. There seemed to be a lack of a consistent breakfast service, with some delays noted that could frustrate those eager to start their day. The absence of pastries and a cheese selection at breakfast felt like a missed opportunity, with a simple request possibly leading to better options.

Delicious Breakfast and Friendly Staff
I had a wonderful stay with a delightful breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients, especially loved the cooked options! The cozy bar area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. While the complimentary parking was convenient, the room could use a bit more attention regarding the mattress comfort.

I stayed in a Comfort Double Room, and it was lovely! Super comfy bed and quiet, which made for great sleep. Bathroom had a good shower and nice toiletries. The decor is stylish and gives the room a cozy vibe. Only downside was no lift, so had to carry my luggage up the stairs, but it wasn't too bad. a pretty nice setup.

missingWrote a review on Jul 25spacious roompleasant staffinadequate hanging spacemediocre breakfastdust accumulation
The Comfort Double Room was spacious and provided a comfortable stay, though it lacked adequate hanging space for clothing. The breakfasts included excellent sliced tropical fruits, and staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. the dining room felt chilly, and the breakfast offerings were quite mediocre, featuring cheap orange juice and pre-sliced toast. Dust accumulation in areas like the bar detracted from the overall experience.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We explored the stunning river views and enjoyed some time at Blackpool Sands for watersports. Loved the cozy feel of the place, and the friendly staff made our stay smooth. Pro tip, grab that parking permit. it really helped us out when the carpark was full.
